What is Global Entry?

Global Entry is a program provided by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). International travelers who wish to avoid long lines upon re-entering the U.S. may wish to apply for the program, which allows for expedited clearance through automatic kiosks at select airports. Qualified applicants, such as U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and citizens of certain countries, must submit to a background check and in-person interview in order to be approved for the Global Entry program.
